Time for vacation

Toni and I are headed out to Miami for our first no kids vacation since we had kids. We need it because this has been a rough week.

Last Thursday George (our dog) bit my hand and hurt me pretty bad. If it had been Abby or Luke the damage could have been terrible. So even though George has been a great dog for us for 9 years, we had to make the difficult decision to get rid of George.

Luckily, my mother has worked very hard and found some options for new homes for George even with the biting incident.

So our vacation is welcome now to help us recover from the last few days.
