The holiday was over 2 weeks ago, but I wanted to record the kids experience with fireworks. Abby was nervous about the loud "boom booms"...so our neighbor Danny helped out by giving both kids these fancy ear muffs.
This seemed to work at the beginning as the kids enjoyed the show, but as the fireworks got bigger and louder throughout the show, the kids got more and more scared even with their ear muffs.
Abby's quote: "I like the ones that stay close to the ground. I don't like the boom booms that go up in the air."
Luke had fun that evening too, although he did get a big "boo boo" on his head from falling. But it appears there is not any permanent damage (at least physically).
